Piquant

Morocco is a country located in Northern Africa with a population of nearly 32 million, its capital city being Rabat and its most famous city being Casablanca; ya know, Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman? Both Arabic and Berber are spoken in Morocco, a region rich with culture and diversity. I love Moroccan food more than any other kind, and the decorative and elaborate tapestries, lamps and rugs are simply beautiful. I hope to one day visit with my father so he can show me where he and my mother spent time together, taking in the elegantly carved temples and mosques. The food too, is so unique and uses many blends of spices to create an insanely flavorful dish. Moroccans commonly use saffron, cumin, turmeric, and paprika. My favorite dish is Zaalouk, which I ask my dad to make occasionally. Here are some examples of Moroccan flair:

I think inspiration comes from experiences. I use them to shape a style that I can call my own. And I do believe that when you receive critique from persons you look up to is really important. It makes you want to continue, and just get it a little better next time. That is what keeps you going.
