OH-MG. This age of technology is taking over my life! I cannot get anything done without being like "Hey, Sarah, you should totally go on Facebook and stalk what people do, I mean everyone is so interesting right?" No, that's not what it is. Honestly, I don't know why anyone is so obsessed with all of these communication engines i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Myspace (lame), because what do you do when you go on? Talk to people who you just spent time with? Talk to people who you could easily call or text? It's so weird because everyone that I talk to over these websites are people that I spend so much time with as it is, that I could just text them and tell them whatever is on my mind. I could understand using Facebook to talk to someone who I haven't seen in ages, but I don't do that. I should probably start, but anyway, it's not like the people who's "pages" and "walls" I go on are all that interesting, we just all give into the hype. We all want to be technology savvy, and get in on the action. We shouldn't care what people write to each other, or what people are doing at every second of the day because then we loose sight of ourselves. For me, I love going on Jesse Jo Stark's twitter because she has to be one of the most interesting people I have come across; but to go on the profile of some nasty skank who posts these skeezy ass quotes about love just to laugh at them seems so anticlimactic in comparison. It's also kind of unsafe I guess, but I don't really think that matters because I choose to go on these sites myself. I mean I love going on blogs to find out about cool trends and such, which is completely understandable, but damn, to tell people every single thing that I am doing at every momeny of the day is rather unnecessary and is such a fucking time sucker upper. This post seems rather ramble ish -- I wonder if my point got across. Did it? I hope so. Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace (tehe) are all necessary evils that we should stop craving at every hour of the day. But who am I to say anything, because I know that I am just going to go on Facebook as soon as I am done . . . shit . . . I went on before I finished writing "I am just going to go on Facebook as soon as I am done writing this post." I need help. Psh, don't listen to this, we're not going to be able to stop, so lets all run to our Blackberry's and laptops and type away. Here's to hoping we don't get carpal tunnel.
→ ASHLEY TARRIFF is Jesus in woman form for reminding me how obsessed with tech shit we all are and inspiring me to write this little post.

I'm just worried about the day I get an iphone (it's inevitable). I will be online all of the time. between errands, waiting for class to start, during meals..I'm concerned.
