there once was a man who really loved salt/so he tied his nose to the sea
He's just beautiful. Everything one needs. We all know that the wind blows and the moon glows and our lungs grow
We belong to the floating hand that's made by some animals
And we all dance so we can let go and move close and trade lows
Like the type of tongue that roots from your breast
And it shakes your pretty, little clavicle
A good friend is walking to a homeland, an inside land
And to him I said, 'You can leave your eyes at the horizon's dead door
Cuz you won't need them anymore'
The children spins dawn in and the morning disappearing
They reappeared as a seed of love
You know the earth births the vegetables

tradition
Yet another bracelet from my Grandmother. She gave me this one for my 18th birthday and told me that she used to wear it as a little girl. It was a gift to her from a young man who she met in Egypt and spent some time with before she met my grandfather. The story behind the jewelry is what really makes it. Thanks Gram, I love you.Saturday, May 15, 2010
fluorescent

I love my wittle sister Sophia and all the random crazy jewelry she decides to give me. Oh, and I am officially a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. This is also why I was unable to do anything on my blog today -- I was kinda out and about performing in a show and going through a super long graduation ceremony where I was given a water bottle and Snickers. Yee haw.
